The Purpose & Volunteering Info
The Purpose Is To Help and Assist Photophobics
To help, assist, and refer photophobic patients to experts in every field associated with Photophobia.

We can avail all the resources available to these patients in one centralized location that will aid, assist, guide, help, and refer to the proper channels, and agencies that are available. As it is now, photophobics must sort through all the information, all the agencies, all the guidelines, rules, regulations, and help available on their own, and it can be a daunting task. The majority of photophobics are shy, and reclusive because of their condition. They tend to stay in the shadows, and tend to avoid attention. So, it is incumbent on us to help them in their timid state to get coordinated, quality care.
The Project Begins at Home in California
We will begin at home in the Sacramento area, because of the access to state, and governmental agencies close at hand. We will need inexpensive offices with all the office equipment needed to be functional, operational, and efficient.
Telephones, computers, printers, desks, filing cabinets, book cases, chairs, and regular office equipment will be needed. Volunteers will be needed to reach out to the photophobic, to the medical, governmental agencies, and various disability and service organizations.
Dedicating Your Time
Thank you for your interest in volunteering. At Photophobic Society of America, we never lose sight of what drives our efforts: Dedicated people who are ready to make change happen now.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and put their individual experience and expertise to work for the greater good.
We need volunteers.  Everyone can help somehow.  We need people to help with general office duties, community outreach, fund raising, and so much more.  Whatever your talents may be, we could really use your help.  Call us 800-533-5665 or fill out the form to find out where your skills are needed most. ‚ÄčOpening many offices across the U.S. is a daunting, and formidable challenge. Office equipment, furniture, computers, printers, and all necessary equipment to function as a caring organization to the photophobic community will be needed. Volunteers, clerical staff, and personnel will be needed to interact with these special people. Donations are needed to be self-sufficient. Our aim is to be self-funding exclusively as a “not for profit” organization.
